What is Bridal Bootcamp?

One of the most popular wedding trends is more than likely the Bridal bootcamp. They are just everywhere right now, with many opting for a relaxing weekend away to get started on their big day. But what exactly is it?

Bridal Bootcamp

Wedding retreats have long been an exclusive and stylish experience for brides, combining the most beautiful location with luxury rooms, delicious food, and useful tips. Now brides are looking to personalize their retreats even more by investing in bridal boot camps, and choosing what they want to learn at their very own space away from home.

The Bootcamp is essentially a group of brides-to-be from around the country who come together to learn all things wedding related. There are three different types of boot camps, depending on whether you want to learn the basics of planning the wedding or how to get married from your heart.

Bridal Bootcamp basics

With a bridal Bootcamp, you have the opportunity to attend from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 1 pm, followed by lunch, and then, an evening yoga session from 7.30 pm. The idea of a Bootcamp is to spend five days with other brides-to-be from across the country, where you have the chance to meet new people and get advice. You also get to cook for your fellow brides in your bridal party, learn how to tie the knot, get a hen party-style beauty makeover and so much more.

Bridal Bootcamp styles

Bridal boot camps are split into three different types:

The Pre-Marriage retreat

Being just weeks away from your wedding, a bride-to-be wants to focus all her efforts on the big day. The wedding dress and looking after the final preparations for the big day and knowing what she needs is information and support from experts. A bridal Bootcamp provides exactly that.

If you’re looking for information on what you should be doing and need practical advice from experts, attending a bridal Bootcamp is perfect. It is where brides-to-be can ask all the questions and receive hands-on guidance from wedding experts.

The Wedding weekend retreat

If you’ve been dreaming of your special day for quite some time and you want to put that vision into action, the best thing you can do is to have a pre-wedding weekend away to plan for it. Just six weeks away from your wedding, it’s also the ideal time to think about the celebrations and how you can make your dream wedding a reality.

This is the perfect opportunity to be organized and focus on what is essential in your wedding plans and get some advice from experts and the right people.

An Evening bridal spa retreat

By the time the big day arrives, you are ready for anything. You are tired, emotional, and stressed and need to find a way to channel all that emotion into the preparation for your big day.

The best way to get over the stress of the wedding is to let it out, get a massage, have a facial, go for a meal, relax with some music or take part in some spa treatments. If your wedding is a spiritual event or even an outdoor one, the tips and advice on how to turn your big day into a spiritual moment will be perfect for you.

When do they have them?

Many bridal boot camps take place in the autumn and winter months, but more recently they have extended their run into spring. Brides can attend the retreats either with their bridal party or on their own.

Only 11 locations in the UK offer the full bridal retreat package, including transportation, accommodation, most meals, and some spa treatments. More recently, more brides are doing bridal boot camps on their own or in groups, to be able to share tips with fellow brides-to-be from around the country.

Best times to attend

Many brides-to-be have busy schedules and they don’t always have the time to find a wedding planner or take courses in their town. Most brides also know that they can always ask their other half, family, and friends for advice on what they should do, and can still benefit from taking a bridal Bootcamp.
